About me

Hi, I'm Ryan Adamczyk! (pronounced Adam-Zack—it looks scarier than it is!)

Born and raised in Florida, I spent most of my time in the North before heading South for college. I earned a B.S. in Management Information Systems and later an MSc in IT & Management from Florida Atlantic University, completing an accelerated master's program. While at FAU, I received a grant to earn my CompTIA Security+ certification.

For two years, I worked as a Junior Systems Administrator at FAU's College of Engineering & Computer Science, gaining hands-on experience and leading solo projects that deepened my expertise in systems administration.

Now, I'm back in North Florida, working at FIS, a Fortune 500 fintech company, on their Global Real Estate team.

I'm a HomeLab enthusiast passionate about self-hosting, open-source software, and technology—always happy to chat about the latest in the space!
